In November 2021, my friend Gabe Del Vecchio and I began creating a documentary titled "Ringside Stories: The Heart and Hustle of Pro Wrestling," inspired by the pandemic's impact on our passion for storytelling. We connected with a local wrestling company in Rochester and filmed five remarkable wrestlers, capturing their struggles and the strong community they foster. With guidance from two-time Emmy award-winning multiplatform producer and RIT lecturer Tom Dooley and the expertise of Hill + Valley in videography, we realized our dream of airing the documentary on WXXI.
